Task:

The security officer can wear the Motorola radio with integrated option board on his belt. By reading the GCS Data Strip at predetermined control points, the security officer transmits his current location via the Radio PenMaster. This allows real time monotoring of the activities of security personnel.

Option board

Function:

The Radio PenMaster application consists of an option board and the PenMaster for conventional radio. Similar to a bar code reader, the PenMaster reads data from GCS Data Strips and transmits this data via radio to a control center. A user friendly back-office software GuardControl is installed in the control room to evaluate incomming data and generate messages.

PenMaster is operational after installation of the option board into a Motorola conventional radio series GP340 to GP380 by an authorized radio dealer. When the radio device is switched on by the user, the option board is activated depending on the channel programming.
