material consumption in the fields of technical service and maintenance
of machines and equipment.

- winspector is a database program
- winspector manages customers, equipment, activities, material consumption
and messages.
- Information about equipment to be serviced and service instructions
can be downloaded into the PSION Workabout.

GCS PenMaster
- Robust, magnetic unit for reading GCS Data Strips is attached to
a hand held computer
- The PenMaster has an integral real time clock, as well as audial
and visual signals when reading.
- The PenMaster needs no batteries, as power is supplied through the
serial interface.
PSION Workabout
- A robust hand held computer with alpha numerical keyboard and LCD
display
- The service technician has key information about equipment and service
instructions on line.
- The keyboard allows entry of quantities, meter readings, messages,
etc.
- Data can also be transferred via infrared interface.
PSION DockingStation
- Supplied with serial and parallel connection
- Transfers master data to the PSION Workabout recorded service tour
data from the PSION Workabout to the PC
- Serves also as battery charger
Incident Booklet
- Allows the service technician to record activities, material consumption
and messages during a service tour.
- The Data Strips are supplied with unique 8 digit code on magnetic
tape
- They are unfalsifiable and resistant against weather, moisture,
water, filth and grease
Portable Printer
- The Pentax Pocket Jet printer is small and light weight, but built
for use in harsh environments.
- The service technician can issue a service report on site using
the infrared signal from the PSION Workabout.
- The service technician wastes no more time writing reports by hand.
